  1. 6Roma Tomatoes- Quartered
  2. 3 cloveminced garlic
  3. 1 largeyellow onion- halved and thinly sliced
  4. 1/2 cupbutter
  5. 1/4 cuplow sodium soy sauce
  6. 1/4 cupwater
  7. 2 lblive small Manila clams
  8. 4 cupSteamed White Rice

Cooking Instructions

    Wash clams and throw out any dead ones

  2. 2

    In a large stock pot melt your butter

  3. 3

    Add onion, minced garlic and quartered tomates to melted butter. Cook until onions are translucent and tomatoes are mush.

    Add soy sauce and water and bring to a simmer.

  5. 5

    Add clams and cover stock pot. Cook over medium heat until all the clams have opened.

    Serve clams and juices over steamed rice. Enjoy

Wife and Mom of 4 with a bun in the oven. (Due in December) I went to Culinary School in Aptos, California and have worked in several kitchens and for some of the most amazing chefs.
