Ingredients

  1. 2 lbground beef
  2. 1egg, slightly beaten
  3. 1/2 tbsponion powder
  4. 1 1/2 tspsalt
  5. 1/4 tsppepper
  6. 1/4 cupsoy milk or regular milk
  7. 1 1/4 cupBread crumbs
  8. 2 tbspvegetable oil
  9. 1 tbspgluten-free flour (or reg flour if you prefer)
  10. 3/4 cupchili sauce
  11. 1/2 cupwater
  12. 1 1/2 tsplight brown sugar
  13. 1/2 tspdry mustard

Cooking Instructions

    Combine beef, egg, onion powder, salt, pepper,milk, & bread crumbs. Mix well. Shape into 2-inch balls.

    Brown in oil in skillet. Remove to a bowl or a plate.

    Stir flour into remaining fat in skillet. Heat just until bubbly. Stir in chili sauce, water, brown sugar, & mustard. Cook stirring constantly until sauce thickens and bubbles.

    Add meatballs back to pan. Cover. Simmer 20 minutes. Uncover & serve. Can put on sub rolls & have meatball subs if you prefer, but they are good by themselves also.
