Baby's First Applesauce Baby's First Applesauce
Just fed my little guy this applesauce and he loved it. His mouth was open before I could get the spoon back in the jar.I add coconut oil and Himalayan salt for added nutritional benefit. So as a mom you can decide to cut it if your concerned. Great mixed in with cereals or on it's own. Give your baby only a small amount at first to test for any allergies.Makes 3-4 4 ounce jars. Fresh Applesauce Fresh Applesauce
This applesauce is the applesauce I grew up on. Every fall our family would go apple picking. We came home with tons of apples and this applesauce was a favorite . It's ultra smooth and silky, sweet and tart as no sugar or sweetner is added. Of course you can add sweetner if you like. A blend of tart and sweet apples works best and having some red apples gives a beautiful pimk color to the applesauce. fenway -

I had some applesauce so I thought of making this. You can substitute applesauce with chopped fruits (dried or fresh) or jam. It is very easy to make, your little ones can help you stirring and adding things to the batter! My kids are not that fond of cinnamon, so I didn't add any. I think a sprinkle of cinnamon on top will give more oomph to this dish. Angela Mertoyono -
