This dish can be made by pan-frying, steaming in a rice cooker, or using an air fryer! When steaming in a rice cooker, you can pour the sauce directly over it. In an air fryer, cook for about 5 minutes; it's delicious even without the sauce.

I tried making these without cooking the asparagus first, but it took longer to cook, and the bacon tended to burn. I tried boiling the asparagus first, but then I found that microwaving was faster, and so I came up with this recipe.Pre-cooking the asparagus and carrots in the microwave reduces the amount of frying time, so the bacon doesn't burn as easily and looks appetizing. Today, I'm making a Chinese-style dish using tender asparagus. I'll wrap it in bacon and fry it, then mix it with soy sauce and simmer it all together with the asparagus. It's crispy, fragrant, and delicious.
