Macadamia Nut Cookies

Ingredients

  1. 1 cupMacadamia nuts
  2. 3 tbspmilk
  3. 3/4 cupunrefined light brown sugar
  4. 1egg
  5. 1 tspvanilla extract
  6. 1 cupall-purpose flour
  7. 1/4 tspbaking soda
  8. 1/4 tspground nutmeg
  9. pinchsalt
  10. 1/2 cupgranulated sugar

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Preheat oven to 350°. Process macadamia nuts & milk in food processor about 2 mins, or until smooth (use 2-3 tb milk).

    Sift the flour, baking soda, nutmeg & salt and sour into nut mixture to form smooth paste.

    Roll the mixture into balls & dip into granulated sugar. Place on baking sheets & flatten slightly, criss-crossing with a fork. Bake 8-10 mins or til golden. Cool on wire racks
