Ingredients

4 servings
  1. cake mix
  2. 1/2 cupunsalted butter, melted
  3. 1 1/2 cupsugar
  4. 1 cupall-purpose flour
  5. 4large eggs, beaten
  6. 2/3 cupunsweetened dark cocoa powder
  7. 2 tspinstant espresso powder
  8. 1/4 cupbrewed espresso
  9. 1 tsppure vanilla extract
  10. 1/4 tspsalt

Cooking Instructions

    Butter the ceramic insert of a slow cooker on bottom and halfway up the sides.

    In a large bowl mix all the ingredients well.

    Pour into buttered cooker bowl.

  4. 4

    Cover, set cooker to low and cook for 2 1/2 hours. Turn cooker off and let it set untouched for 30 minutes more.

    Serve with ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream.
