Chilli. (3 way mince)

This is the first recipe from the 3 way mince and is quick and easy as the hard bit is already done. Serves 4 or 2 and 2 foils for rainy day plus one foil of chilli for jacket potato topping. Best to make this first with mince that has not been frozen then you can freeze remaining mixture.

Ingredients

  1. 1 foil of 3 way mince
  2. 1tin red kidney beans in chilli sauce or tin of red kidney beans and add chilli paste
  3. 1tin baked beans
  4. 350 gramspassata
  5. 1half teaspoon of smoked pementon
  6. 1desert spoon tomato puree
  7. 2 tspmixed herbs 2 teaspoons
  8. 1 tbspsweet chilli (optional)
  9. 1quarter teaspoon ground pepper
  10. 1salt to taste

Cooking Instructions

    Put foil of 3 way mince in wok or large pan

  2. 2

    Add tin of kidney beans to pan

  3. 3

    Add passata

  4. 4

    Add pimenton or smoked chilli to taste

  5. 5

    Add herbs, tomato paste and tin of baked beans

  6. 6

    Stir and heat to medium to high heat. If foil of mince was frozen then heat to rolling boil stirring as you go.

    Add more chilli and salt to taste

  8. 8

    Serve with rice or over jacket potato.

    Refoil any remaining mixture.
