Leftover Hen In Cream Soup With Asparagus And Capers

Ingredients

  1. 1 bunchAsparagus chopped
  2. 1 1/2Left over hen carcus with meat and skin attached
  3. 2large mushrooms sliced
  4. 1 jarcapers
  5. 2 tbspflour
  6. 2 tbspbutter
  7. 2 can (15 oz)cans. Chicken broth
  8. 1 cupwater
  9. 1/4 tspeach fennel,thyme,and rosemary
  10. 1/4 as neededTeaspoon Lawry's seasoning
  11. 1 cupheavy cream
  12. 1/2 as neededTeaspoon sugar

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    In 3 quart sauce pan melt butter over medium heat, add flour mix to make soup thickener when completely blended add chicken broth, water, cream and spices

  2. 2

    Split hen apart and add along with asparagus capers mushrooms and Lawry's seasoning

  3. 3

    Cover with lid and simmer 30 min remove hen toss bones and add meat to pot simmer another 10-15 min serve hot
