Ingredients

  1. Beef stew meat
  2. [Marinade]
  3. 2 tbspsteak powder
  4. 1.5 tspsalt
  5. 1 tspblack or white pepper
  6. 1 tbspsoy sauce
  7. 1 tbspoyster sauce
  8. 1 tsppaprika
  9. 1 tbspsriracha sauce (optional)
  10. 1 tspWorcestershire sauce
  11. 1 dashdried herbs
  12. [Cook]
  13. 1big onion
  14. 3 clovesgarlic
  15. 1 1/2 cupbeef or chicken broth
  16. 3dried bay leaves
  17. 2carrots
  18. 2-3celery sticks
  19. 1.5 tspWorcestershire sauce
  20. 1 tbspsoy sauce
  21. 1.5 tspsalt
  22. 1.5 tspoyster sauce
  23. 1 tspsugar
  24. 2 tbspBBQ sauce
  25. 1 tbspcorn flour + water (slurry)

Cooking Instructions

    Marinade stew beef meat for 20 minutes or overnight

    Heat 1 tbsp oil in pan and brown beef stew meat

  3. 3

    Place meat at the bottom of the pot of slow cooker; add chopped onion, garlic, bay leaves, carrots, celery and a portion of stock and cook for approximately 10 to 15 minutes in a normal pot/slow cooker on max

    Halfway through, add remainder of stock or water and flavor accordingly with salt, sugar, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, BBQ sauce, oyster sauce

    20 minutes before serving, add in slurry, turn up heat until the stew has thickened

  6. 6

    Serve with rice or pasta
