These eggs are so gosh dang good! I refuse to call them deviled eggs. They are worthy of a more majestic name. They taste so heavenly we decided to call them 👼😇 Angel Eggs. Give them a try and you'll understand why.

Ingredients

I ate them all
  1. 1 dozenhardboiled large eggs, peeled
  2. 1/2 cupmayo (about 4 ounces, more as needed) I used Dukes
  3. 2 tablespoonssweet pickle relish (or use dill relish)
  4. 1/2 teaspoonsugar
  5. 1 teaspoonyellow mustard
  6. 1/2 teaspooneach of salt, black pepper and garlic powder
  7. 2 tablespoonsdiced Jalapenos (more or less)
  8. 1/2 cupcooked, crumbled bacon (about 4 slices)
  9. 2 tablespoonsminced onion
  10. Paprika for garnish
  11. Parsley flakes for garnish

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

Slice the hard boiled eggs in half, lengthwise

  2. 2

Remove the yolks and put them in a mixing bowl. Place the egg white halves on a platter or serving dish, set aside. Mash the egg yolks with a fork and break them up

  3. 3

Add the mayonnaise, pickle relish, sugar, and yellow mustard to the mashed egg yolks and stir until well combined

  4. 4

Add your seasonings and taste mixture. Add more of any seasoning, if needed. NOTE: The bacon will add salt to the eggs so go easy on the salt or omit it!

  5. 5

Mix in the jalapenos, bacon, and onion. Blend well. Taste for flavor. NOTE: if mixture is too stiff, add a tiny bit more mayo, or, a tablespoon of pickle juice until you get a good consistency, NOT TOO THIN!

  6. 6

Spoon mixture into egg white halves. Sprinkle with paprika or parsley flakes and chill until ready to serve

  7. 7

NOTE: You are free to add or omit anything you want in this recipe. Nothing is written in stone. Play around with it and make it your own. Enjoy!
