Ingredients

  1. 55 gramscaster sugar
  2. 125 gramsbutter
  3. 180 gramsplain flour
  4. 2 pinchcinnamon

Cooking Instructions

    preheat your oven to 190c

  2. 2

    beat the butter and sugar together until smooth

  3. 3

    add the flour and the cinnamon (you can use more cinnamon if you prefer), mix them together until you get a smooth dough

  4. 4

    turn the mix onto a surface and roll out the dough about 1cm thick

  5. 5

    using cutters of your choice, cut out shapes from the dough and carefully place them onto a floured baking tray

  6. 6

    place them into the oven for about 15 to 20 minutes or until pale golden brown

  7. 7

    after baking, transfer the biscuits onto a cooling rack

  8. 8

    once cooled you can enjoy your spiced biscuits ! ( they are especially brilliant dunked in a hot chocolate )
