My chocolate bread I got from the supermarket had been pushed to the back of the cupboard, 2 day old so I thought instead of waisting it, I made this instead, yummy!

My chocolate bread I got from the supermarket had been pushed to the back of the cupboard, 2 day old so I thought instead of waisting it, I made this instead, yummy!

Ingredients

6 servings
  1. 500 gramsChocolate Bread (or white bread + 2 Tbsp chocolate chips)
  2. 1 pintWhole Milk
  3. 1 tbspNutella or any other Choc spread
  4. 1/4 cupDouble cream
  5. 3 tbspNut mix
  6. 200 gramsBreadcrumbs

Cooking Instructions

40 mins

    Butter all the bread and put into a oven dish

  2. 2

    In a jug pour one pint of warmed milk into it, then add the Nutella into the milk and mix together with a whisk.

    Pour the mixture all over the bread, mix it all up

  4. 4

    Pour the double cream into the mix and mix well.

  5. 5

    Add the Nut mixture and stir well.

  6. 6

    Then add the breadcrumbs and stir in, mix well.

  7. 7

    Heat oven gas 6 or 180°C and cook for 30 minutes,stir all the mix half way through cooking time. Put it into a serving dish pat down and decorate with dried nuts and dried fruit. Serve as it is, or with whipped cream or thick custard.

It is a passion of mine and I always invite my family around so I can create something new for them to try. my children grew up learning lots from me I have 3 daughters all with their own families and two Sons one who cooks for his family also my youngest son who is still at home with me,he comes up with some lovely meals and ideas so I'm proud of them all. 💜
