Ingredients

  1. 2 cupssifted flour
  2. 3 teaspoonsbaking powder
  3. 2 teaspoonssugar
  4. 3eggs
  5. 11/4 cupsmilk
  6. 4 tablespoonsmelted butter
  7. 1/2 teaspoonssalt

Cooking Instructions

    Sift flour and measure

  2. 2

    Then sift flour baking powder salt and sugar three times

  3. 3

    To the well beaten egg yolks add flour alternately with milk

  4. 4

    Add butter which has been melted over hot water and cooled

  5. 5

    Fold in stiff egg whites

  6. 6

    For cheese waffles add 1/2 to 3/4 cup grated cheese to above batter

  7. 7

    Bake in hot waffle iron.
