  15. 2 tbspbutter

Cooking Instructions

30 minutes
  1. 1

Firstly boil 4-5 cups of water on low medium heat. Add washed spinach leaves. Let it cook for 5-6 minutes.

  2. 2

After 5-6 minutes take the spinach leaves out and add them to the cold water.

  3. 3

Now take blanched spinach in a blender jar, add green chillies and blend it into a smooth puree, without adding water. Keep it aside.

  4. 4

Shallow fry the paneer cubes and keep them aside.

  5. 5

Heat butter in a pan on low medium flame. Add jeera and whole spices. Saute till the spices turn aromatic.

  6. 6

Add in the chopped onion and saute till it turns golden brown.

  7. 7

Now add ginger garlic paste along with tomato puree and saute for 2-3 minutes.

  8. 8

Add spinach puree and salt. Mix it well.

  9. 9

Add water and adjust the consistency as required.

  10. 10

Add fried paneer cubes, garam masala powder and kasuri methi.

  11. 11

    Simmer it for 2-3 minutes.

  12. 12

Further add cream. Give it a mix.

  13. 13

Garnish with some more cream and serve hot with naan, roti or rice.

  14. 14

    Tips:-

  15. 15

Add 1 tsp sugar while boiling spinach. This will help to keep its bright colour intact.

  16. 16

I have added shallow fried paneer cubes. But if you want, you can add paneer cubes as such.

  17. 17

Make sure to soak paneer cubes in hot water for 4-5 minutes before frying. This will help to keep the paneer soft and moist.
