These cookies are so yummy, just tart enough from the lime and sweet enough from the raspberry. Very pretty, jewel toned gems to munch on too!

I wanted to make my lemon poppyseed loaf, hubby wanted me to make it into cookies... adjusted recipe to fit a basic sugar cookie recipe, add lemon and poppyseed... PERFECT!!!!

Easy to make cookies. Almond flour and vanilla extract make these cookies a very nice treat. A cup of tea and Linzer cookies are making a perfect match. First they are going to be crispy but once u pit them in an air tight box for 1 night they r going to turn delicious and soft. :-)

I learned how to make these cookies from my Turkish husband's younger sister. At first, my husband was making these himself, but somehow I became the one who makes these cookies now! The Turkish name is "Elmali pasta" (dessert with apples).I've only seen all-purpose flour in supermarkets in Turkey. People make bread and desserts with all-purpose flour. So I also use all-purpose flour, but of course, you can use cake flour as well. Again, you can use any kind of apples. Adjust the amounts of sugar and lemon juice depending on the size of apples or to your taste. They are also delicious if you add finely minced walnuts to the apple preserves. Recipe by Merike

But how relaxing is it to make cookies at home with the little helper? We like it so much; this time it was the butter biscuits (recipe taken from my new book "Christmas Sweets") to which I made some small changes and covered some with chocolate, others with cinnamon powder and others with cane sugar 😀 Simple and quick to to prepare, butter biscuits are excellent for breakfast or as a snack, they can be kept for a few days in a tin box 😉
