Ingredients

  1. 1ridge gourd (turiya)
  2. 2 tspyellow moong dal
  3. 1/4 tsptumeric powder
  4. 1/2 tspred chilli powder
  5. 1/2 tspgaram masala
  6. to tasterock salt
  7. Chopped fresh coriander leaves for garnishing

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Wash and soak yellow moong dal in water for 1/2 hour. Wash,peel,and cut ridge gourd into small pieces.

    In microwave safe bowl add ridge gourd (turiya), pieces, soaked yellow moong dal, tumeric powder, red chilli powder, garam masala and rock salt..mix well. Cover with lid. Micro cook at 80 power level for 10 mins.

    Serve / relish oil free ridge gourd- moongdal subzi garnishing with chopped fresh coriander leaves with jowar roti in lunch.
