This recipe makes a normal 10" cake, the key is to cream your butter and sugar till it's very creamy and fluffy.NB: sieving of flour and other dry ingredients is very important.

This is actually my Butterscoth's(KSB) very first sponge cake. He searched up the recipe and check that all the five basic ingredients were available at home and then he proceeded to ask me to allow him try it out...Honestly, the procedure is so simple and the cake is so yum.So here's kSB easy breezy European sponge recipe.
