Ingredients

  1. 1/2 cupsoftened butter
  2. 2/3 cupsugar
  3. 2eggs, well beaten
  4. 1/2 tspsalt
  5. 1 tspbaking soda
  6. 2 cupsAP flour
  7. 3large over ripe bananas
  8. 1 tspvanilla
  9. 1/2 tspnutmeg

Cooking Instructions

    Preheat oven to 375°

    Beat butter and sugar together until fluffy

  3. 3

    And beaten eggs and mix

  4. 4

    Mix soda into 3 Tbsp hot water and add to sugar mix. Blend well.

    Add 1 cup flour and salt, blend.

    Mash bananas and add to mixture, blend.

  7. 7

    Add remaining flour and vanilla. Blend well.

  8. 8

    Beat sugar, butter and eggs until well mixed.

  9. 9

    Pour into greased loaf pan.

    Bake for 45 minutes

    Cool in pan, then move to wire cooling rack until cooled completely.

    Store in an airtight container.
