Ingredients

5 servings
  1. 1 tablespoonbutter (about 14 grams)
  2. 6medium onions
  3. 1 1/2 tablespoonsflour (about 12 grams)
  4. Salt, pepper, and cinnamon
  5. 1chicken or beef bouillon cube
  6. 4 1/4 cupswater (1 liter)
  7. Cheese to taste
  8. Baguette bread to taste

Cooking Instructions

    Slice the onions into rings.

    Melt the butter in a pot.

    Add the onions to the butter and cook until golden brown.

    Add salt, pepper, and cinnamon, and continue to cook until the onions are well browned.

    Add the flour and stir with a spoon until the mixture thickens.
