Ingredients

  1. 1 litreFull Cream Milk
  2. 1 cupVermicelli/Seviyan
  3. 1 tbspGhee
  4. 1 cupSugar
  5. 2 tspCardamom Powder
  6. 1 cupNuts (Almonds, Cashewnuts, Walnuts & Dates)

Cooking Instructions

    Heat ghee in a heavy bottomed pan.

  2. 2

    Add vermicelli and roast till slightly brown. Remove from pan and keep aside.

  3. 3

    Add milk in a pan and let it come to a boil.

  4. 4

    Add the roasted vermicelli to the milk and reduce the heat to low.

  5. 5

    Cook on low heat for 15 to 20 mins till the vermicellis are soft.

  6. 6

    Add sugar and cardamom powder and cook for another minute. Off the flame.

  7. 7

    Garnish with chopped almonds, cashewnuts, walnuts & dates.

  8. 8

    Serve warm or else you can chill it in the refrigerator and serve cold.
