Ingredients

  1. 1 cupchana dal / bengal gram
  2. 1 inchGinger
  3. 2Green Chilli
  4. 1 tspCumin(jeera)
  5. 2 tbspCoriander (finely Chopped)
  6. 1 tbspCurry leaves (finely chopped)
  7. 1/2 tspSalt
  8. as neededOil for frying
  9. 1small onion

Cooking Instructions

    Take a bowl add dal and water and soak it 2 hours

  2. 2

    After,2 hours wash well and drain off the water on to the dal. And rest for 20 minutes

    Next. take a blender add soaked chana dal, ginger, green chilli,and add cumin seeds.and blend.

  4. 4

    Blend the dal to coarse paste. And transfer the dal mixture on to the bowl and than add into onion (chopped), coriander leaves,and curry leaves. Mix all of the ingredients to well combined.

    Heat oil in a Kadai......when the oil is medium hot mix salt to the dal mixture and mix well.

    Make small balls and press between the palm and make vada.

  7. 7

    Deep fry in medium flame till vada cooked well....so the tasty chana dal bada is ready to serve.....have with hot tea :). Enjoy!!
