Ingredients

  1. 1 kgEscargot
  2. 1 cupRed wine
  3. 50 gbutter
  4. 5 clovesgarlic (minced)
  5. 1 pconion (chopped)
  6. 10 gparsley (chopped)
  7. 5 gthyme
  8. 5 grosemary
  9. 1 tbspsugar
  10. 1 tbspsoy sauce
  11. 1 tspblack pepper
  12. 1 tspsalt

Cooking Instructions

    Clean escargot by submerging it in water for 1hr then change the water and submerge it for another hour. Chop off the end of the escargot before cooking it.

    Sauté onion in a pan with a little splash of oil. Then add garlic, thyme and rosemary. Till aromatic.

    Add escargot. Sauté for 5mins. Then add sugar, soy sauce. Continue to sauté for 5mins.

    Add red wine then let the alcohol cook for another 5mins. Add the butter then stir. Add the parsley.

    Serve in a plate. You may also add chillies while you sauté the garlic and onion for added heat.
