Filet Steak with Garlic and Thyme Butter Filet Steak with Garlic and Thyme Butter
This is a very common way to cook steak. Seasoned only with salt and pepper then finished by basting with garlic and thyme butter for a perfect flavor that doesn’t drown out the taste of the steak. I aim for medium rare (135F internal temperature. Adjust cooking times to your desired rareness and use meat thermometer if you are unsure. Ellsworth Eats -

Beef Steak with Lots of Veggies Beef Steak with Lots of Veggies
When I was a student, my friend's mother told me that cooking the meat this way would make it tender. I'm not sure if this is true or false, but nevertheless, that's how I've cooked beef since then.Serving this steak with fancy sauce sounds great too, but it's also amazing with "Super Versatile Garlic Soy Sauce". If you don't have "Basil Butter", you can also use regular butter. Recipe by chima@ cookpad.japan
