Adalu. (egbo ati ewa)
"Egbo" means over cooked corn. While "ewa" is known as beans. egbo is a yoruba delicacy that can be eaten alone with pepper sauce or paired with beans making it even more delicious. This food reminds me of my secondary school days there's a woman who sells this food any time me and my siblings comes back from school we must buy it became a regular lunch for us. Fresh corn can be used. But I prefer dried corn taken to the mill for "sirfe" that's removing the outer covering of corn.Wash and cook till very very soft. Cook the beans too till very soft. Your "egbo ati ewa" is ready below is the special pepper soup to accompany them.enjoy

Ata ewa
Am so excited about this recipe, I went to spend the holiday with my mother in-law and I want to use the opportunity to get all the local recipes as much as I can get. So basically "ATA EWA" is pepper for beans you know Yoruba people and pepper their love for pepper is out of this world. but at the end of the day this sauce makes lots of sense with beans I so much love it. I hope you guys would like it too you can add a little tomatoes and onions to reduce the peppery effect. Enjoy

Ekuru sauce
Ekuru sauce is an accompanment enjoyed with the famous ekuru. although it can be paired with other food staples like rice, yam and so on this sauce derived it's origin from the western part of Nigeria that's the yoruba's and as you well know the yorubas are famous for their tolerance for pepper so this sauce is quite hot. But you can adjust the pepper so that you can also enjoy this sauce. The aroma that would emanate from your kitchen while cooking this would make the neighbors troop in to ask what's cooking speaking from experience. The key ingredients in this sauce is the locust beans and crayfish. #wazobia
