Flat bread with chickpeas porridge

Ingredients

5 serving
  1. Flat bread
  2. 3 cupsflour
  3. 1 tbspsugar
  4. 2 tbsppowdered milk
  5. Salt as required
  6. Unflavored yogurt(optional)
  7. Warm water as required
  8. Butter
  9. 1 1/2 tspyeast
  10. Pinchbaking powder
  11. Chickpeas porridge
  12. 3 cupschickpeas(kwaroro)
  13. Chilli peppers
  14. Onions/spring onions
  15. Maggi & salt
  16. Oil

Cooking Instructions

    Boil the chickpeas(kwaroro) with little potash (kanwa) for hours, until it softens. Then you add in the chilli pepper,garlic, ginger, onions/ spring onion,maggi & salt. Let it simmer

    Mix in flour, sugar, yeast, salt, baking powder,milk together. Then mix with yogurt and the Warm water. You can add more water if it’s not enough. Keep aside to rise. Ps: it’s not a watery dough

    Pre heat your pan, roll the dough into a small ball,spread little butter on the pan and the dough as well and grill.

    Fry your oil with onions,pour the fried oil on the porridge when serving. Enjoy😘
