Cooking Instructions
- 1
Put The flour, sugar, yeast and cinnamon in a bowl and mix
- 2
Add the egg and warm water and mix thoroughly
- 3
Cover the bowl and let the batter stand for 45 mins to one hour
- 4
Heat up the vegetable oil (note, this is a deep fried snack, so, use a deep pan, and target a 3" level oil
- 5
Drop the batter into the oil in little bits and fry until golden brown on all sides.
- 6
Note: if oil is not hot enough, your puff puff will soak oil, if it's too hot, your puff puff won't cook through. Test the oil by droping one ball, if it immediately rises to the top of the oil, it's hot enough, if it stays down, it's not hot enough.
- 7
Drain the fried puff puff with a kitchen paper towel
- 8
Mix the sugar and cinnamon and roll each puff puff in it
- 9
Enjoy your yummy cinnamon puff puffs together with other small chops

I love love LOVE yeast breads but I suck at baking them for the most part. But this recipe, which is a redo of one I found 15 years ago, is a yeast bread, but a quick, instant gratification yeast bread. I love my crumbles and I love soft, fluffy and a little bit chewy sweet cakes. I’ve made this a few different ways. This dough has endless possibilities. I’ll publish another soon. Cinnamon Rolls Cinnamon Rolls
I was asked to make cinnamon rolls shown in the pamphlet so they could be served at a movie screening, but I wasn't satsified with the original dough...I tried various things, and finally settled on this combination while leaving the original image intact. If you use milk with a high ratio of sugar, the dough will just become heavy. I lightened it up a bit with skim milk. It's a waste to throw away the cut edges, so wrap in them aluminum foil and bake them. Recipe by uronn cookpad.japan -

Cinnamon Raisin Bread Cinnamon Raisin Bread
Have I mentioned I’ve tried to make yeast bread over the last 35 years and failed miserably? Well, I have. I’ve followed recipes down to a T. Failure! I’m thinking I’m making it harder than it has to be. I know there’s a lot of ‘feel’ to it. I introduced my grandson to cinnamon raisin bread and the smell alone, from the toaster, was all it took to sell him hard. It’s expensive stuff right now!! 5 bucks a loaf? And the loaves are dinky. Delicious, but dinky. I went in WITHOUT a recipe except my own little quick hot roll recipe, and made 2 loaves for Pennie’s, literally. I even used whole wheat flour and golden raisins. It can be made with either flour. I like the fiber in whole wheat. SherryRandall: The Leftover Chronicles -
