Sesame Seed Hamburger Buns Sesame Seed Hamburger Buns
I wanted to try making hamburger buns out of ordinary bread dough. The pictures I used feature dough balls that are 70~75 g -- a little on the light side. The main profile picture (showing the hamburger patties) have buns made from 80 g balls of dough. They can become a little tall, so if you want to cut them into 3 slices, so weigh the dough to 80-85 g. Recipe by Narimofugi cookpad.japan -

Hot Cross Buns Hot Cross Buns
You can't have a proper Easter without hot cross buns! If you've never had them, these buns are lightly spiced, a bit sweet and quite rich thanks to the egg, milk and butter in the dough. My favorite part are the dried fruits mixed in!If you can't buy mixed spiced, you can use this simple recipe to make it yourself: Combine 1 tsp cinnamon powder, 1 tsp ground coriander, 3/4 tsp nutmeg, 1/2 tsp ginger, 1/2 tsp allspice, 1/4 tsp ground cloves (or mix what ever spices you have on hand) Brownie -
Buns for Sliders Buns for Sliders
I made this using a bread maker, but you can knead it by hand. We love sliders but we can't find the perfect buns for them. You can glaze the top with yolk and sprinkle toasted sesame seeds on top for better finish. This recipe will yield about a dozen buns, more or less. If the buns are too thick, cut and remove the middle part. You can use this for sandwiches later! When you are making bread, sometimes you need to add more flour or fluid. Check the consistency of the dough and add flour or fluid accordingly. Angela Mertoyono -
How To Make Homemade Vegan Burger Buns How To Make Homemade Vegan Burger Buns
I have been wanting to make a full 100% vegan burger for quite some time, but I just couldn't figure out any appropriate way, sadly. I had researched and gone down the rabbit hole. Most just didn't turn out as I expected; too dense, too airy that the buns literally fell apart after slicing. Some even just use avocados as "buns". Yes! IKR?Just when I was about to give up, this recipe happened! I was messing around and thought to myself, "why not add the avocado into the dough?" The rest is history. The biggest challenge is to make a vegan "egg wash" so that the sesame seeds will adhere to the buns. "A simple syrup will do the trick", I thought to myself again. It works! I even sprinkled some extra rolled oats to sorta distinguish this from a normal burger bun. Expect more vegan burgers coming your way. Daniel Lim -
Hong-Kong Style Pineapple Buns (菠蘿包) Hong-Kong Style Pineapple Buns (菠蘿包)
HK-style pineapple buns, aka bolo bao, do not actually have pineapple as an ingredient. The name comes from the crunchy topping that loosely resembles a pineapple. They are a staple of Chinese bakeries in Hong Kong, and are good for breakfast (plain), lunch (as sandwich), tea time (with a slab of butter inside), or dessert (with ice cream)! Mexican Coffee Buns aka Rotiboy Mexican Coffee Buns aka Rotiboy
I only just heard the this Mexican Coffee Bun is not actually Mexican but Asian. I'm not really sure about this, but the website I saw stated that. Cookie dough on bread is actually quite normal here where I'm from (Polo buns are an example). My brother used to love these Rotiboy, as we call them, and we would have it at least three times a week for breakfast. Try it, you won't regret it.Ps The amount of coffee in the cookie batter can be adjusted to preference. Yoru -
Rich Funfetti Mug Cake Recipe Rich Funfetti Mug Cake Recipe
All the kids I have made this for love it and adults with sweet toothes too. Though I personally don't think it is too sweet because I myself am not too much of a sugar person.Ps : I suggest using small eggs for mug cakes because I have found using large eggs make the cakes taste too eggy. Also feel free to leave out the sprinkles to make a vanilla mug cake, it tastes just as good.
