Jalaibi is one of most popular desserts in Pakistan, they are much popular as a street
food and is also sold in every sweet shops .

A quick and easy sweet recipe.
I always thought that jalaibi is not possible to prepare at home , But yesterday one of my friend ( Sehrish) posted the homemade jalaibi which I really liked. This post give me the confidence to try at least once, that's the reason I have given it a try and with the grace of ALMIGHTY this is a Successful attempt.

Ingredients

20 minutes
6,7 people
  1. 1 cupFlour
  2. 4 Tablespoonscornflour
  3. 3,4 TablespoonYogurt
  4. 1/4 teaspoonbaking soda
  5. 1/4 teaspooncolour
  6. 200 mlWater
  7. Sugar syrup
  8. 1 kgSugar
  9. 1liter water
  10. 5,6Cardamom
  11. For frying
  12. Oil as required

Cooking Instructions

20 minutes
  1. 1

    Add in a larg bowl Flour, cornflour and baking soda mix well.

  2. 2

    Then add yogurt and red colour (optional), add water mix with an egg beater, until smooth thick running Paste. Keep aside for 15 minutes.

    Heat oil in frying pan,
    After 15 minutes add the mixture into zip bag cut the edges, just a bit,
    Or use a squeezing sauce bottle,

    Fry the jalaibi on medium heat not too much hot nor warm, pour the mixture with a squeezing bottle in hot oil and make the jalaibies, dont fry to much remove the jalaibi from the oil put in strainer
    strain the oil,

  5. 5

    And pour directly in sugar syrup (slightly hot to warm)
    Soak for 2,3 minutes

  6. 6

    Serve jalaibi hot or warm
    As you like.
