Nowadays, I am so busy and on busy days didn’t get the chance to order meat. Chana daal is a dish that is eaten by everyone at home easily. So I fry the daal this time like a Dhaba. Boiled daal first and then added in masala and fry it on high flame. Everyone loved it and enjoyed it with chapati 😋 #cricketlove

Ingredients

  1. 1 cupChana daal (boiled with turmeric powder and red chili powder)
  2. 2onion medium-sized, thin slices
  3. 1tomato (big-sized chopped)
  4. Salt to taste
  5. Masala
  6. 1to red chili powder
  7. 1/4step turmeric powder
  8. 1/4 tspcumin powder
  9. 1/2 tspginger garlic paste
  10. Garnish
  11. Julianne ginger
  12. 2whole green chili
  13. Coriander chopped
  14. For frying
  15. Oil

Cooking Instructions

    Take a wok, pour oil and heat it up. Add slices of onion and fry until it turn soft and pink. The. Add chopped tomatoes. Fry little bit.

    Add salt, red chilli powder, ginger garlic and turmeric powder. Start frying. Make a masala.

    Then add boiled chana daal. And start frying on high flame. Mix it properly. Add little bit of water and cook for 4 mins on very low flame.

    Add green whole chili and julienne ginger. Cover it for 1 min more.

    Dish out it serving platter and garnish it with coriander. Serve with a lemon and garma garam chapati.
