  1. 10-12baby patatoes
  2. Oil for frying
  3. 2-3tamatoes
  4. 2-3onion
  5. 1tspn ginger garlic paste
  6. Salt as per taste
  7. 1tspn turmeric powder
  8. 1tspn corriander powder
  9. 1tspn red chilli powder
  10. 1tspn garam masala
  11. 1big elaichi/cinamon
  12. 4-5Kali mirch/ black pepper
  13. 2-3laung/cloves
  14. 1tspn cumin seeds
  15. Corriander leaves for garnishing

Cooking Instructions

    Firstly half boil the baby patatoes and then peel them and pork them with the help of fork..

    Now add 1 tspn each of turmeric powder, red chilli powder, salt and give it a nice mix..Heat oil for frying once done fry all the patatoes till golden brown..

    In a pan heat 1 tbspn oil add cumin seed when crackles add cloves, elaich, black pepper saute it for 5-6 seconds than add the tamato and onion puree and add red chilli powder, corriander powder, Turmeric powder and saute it till oil is separated..

    Now add 1 cup water and let it boil after boiling add the fried patatoes

    If the gravy seems very thick add 1/2 cup of water let it boil for more 5-6 mints.. Dil aalu is ready to serve garnish it with corriander leaves.. If u want you can use cream for garnishing also..
