One day my Mom gave me some minced chicken that's been already seasoned for me to make shumai, together with the wrappers. But I never made them, I made this instead 😄😄 sorry Mom, but at least nothing wasted. This was yummy, eta this by itself or with some hot rice, up to you, hope you like it!

Ingredients

30 minutes
2 people
  1. 12dumpling wrappers
  2. 150 gramsminced chicken
  3. 10prawns, chop finely
  4. 2garlics, chop finely
  5. 1green onion, finely chopped
  6. 1handfull of spinach, chopped
  7. 1 tbspsesame oil
  8. 1egg
  9. 2 tbsptapioca
  10. 1broccoli cut into segments
  11. as neededWater
  12. 1bit of oil
  13. Some salt
  14. Some pepper
  15. Chicken powder
  16. 2garlics, slice, for the broth

Cooking Instructions

30 minutes

    Dumplings: add the chicken, prawns, egg, tapioca, spinach, sesamenoil, some salt, pepper and chicken powder into a bowl and mix evenly.

    Take one wrapper. Stuff with 1-2 tbsp of the chicken mixture. Close so nothing comes out.

    Do until everything is done.

    Boil some water. Add a bit of oil and salt and boil the dumplings when the water's bubbling.

    Boil the dumplings until they float and cooked inside. Take them out.

  6. 6

    Then boil some water. Add in the broccoli when water is boiling. Then put the dumplings in. Give them some seasonings as desire. Taste test. Mix evenly.

    Turn off the heat and serve.
