Perfect Tabbouleh

Extremely healthy, so full of vitamine from parsely, one more plate to add, and make a big portion to enjoy for a few meals.

Remind me of the taste of Beirut, plenty of parsley, a lot, and very strong flavour of lemon.

Ingredients

20min
4 servings
  1. 2 bunchesparsley
  2. leavesMint
  3. 1/4 cupbulgar wheat
  4. 2mid size tomatoes
  5. halfcucumber
  6. Sauce
  7. 2 table spoonextra virgin olive oil
  8. 1large size lemon
  9. Halfclove of garlic
  10. 1 pinchsalt & pepper

Cooking Instructions

20min
  1. 1

    Prepare bulagar wheat in advance

  2. 2

Chop tomatoes and cucumbers into pieces. Put in the bowl and salt to take water out for a while. Important to take out water before so that tabbouleh won't be too much water

  3. 3

Chop parsley and mint into mixer

  4. 4

Mix the 'sauce' part ingredients. A lot of lemon juice is a key. One big lemon juice is about 4, 5 tablespoons. Minch a half clove of garlic.

  5. 5

    Mix all ingredients above

  6. 6

Eat with anything really, but good with many spice dishes

@tomo It looks yummy! From my point of view as a Lebanese 😊 , it is still missing the onions (around 1 bulb) and I would add another tomato for a juicier taste.
Usually we do it without cucumbers but it can be a great personal touch. And make sure that lemon taste stings 😊
And by the way @cook_lebanese_en has some great Lebanese recipes so check them out 😊
