I love this combination of flavors for all kinds of seafood, including squid. My mother used to make this for me when I was growing up.Make sure to pan fry it until golden brown, then flip over.Cod falls apart easily when cooked, so use a spatula. If the fish is very thick, put a lid on the pan to make sure it cooks through. You can use any kind of fish you like, but if you use salted salmon or other salty fish, reduce the amount of soy sauce. Seasoned Pan-Fried Salmon with Panko Seasoned Pan-Fried Salmon with Panko
Kids love deep-fried salmon, but it's oily for adults. I added panko, but it wasn't flavourful. Then I added some seasonings, and it tasted great. If you use all the olive oil at the beginning, you won't have enough oil when you cook the other side. I recommend saving some for later. Parmesan Herb Crusted Cod Parmesan Herb Crusted Cod
Parmesan herb crusted cod on rotini aglio e olio with capers. I used rotini noodles in place of spaghetti because I'm using GF boxed kind and they tend break down and become more of a mess than a noodle. I've had really good luck with homemade noodles but that doesn't always happen especially on a weeknight. jason williams
