Ingredients

  1. 400 gLotus root; grated
  2. 150 gprawns; minced
  3. 150 gpork; minced
  4. Spring onions; diced
  5. 0.5 teaspoonsalt
  6. 0.5 teaspoonsugar
  7. 0.5 gteaspoon white pepper
  8. 1egg

Cooking Instructions

    Mix minced prawn and pork until sticky

  2. 2

    Add lotus root, spring onion, 1 egg, 0.5 teaspoon salt, 0.5 teaspoon sugar and 0.5 teaspoon white pepper and mix well until sticky

    Divide the paste into 8 portions and roll them into meatballs

  4. 4

    Panfry the meatball on both sides for 10 seconds and then smash them flat

  5. 5

    Panfry on one side for 3 mins and then flip them over

  6. 6

    Panfry for another 3 mins with lid on and a teaspoon of water

  7. 7

    Remove the lid and panfry for 1 min on each side

  8. 8

    Serve with dipping sauce of your choice
