Heat ghee in kadhai.Add semolina and cumin seeds. Saute for 2-3 minutes on low flame. Stir continuously while stirring so that every grain of rava should coat with a ghee evenly. Remove from the flame and keep aside for later use.

In same kadai add ghee/oil. Roast peanuts and cashews until golden. Now add mustard seeds, chana dal and urad dal let them splutter.

Now, pour water and add salt. Bring water to a rolling boil. Then reduce the flame to low heat.

Pour roasted rava in a very slow stream with one hand and constantly stir the water with the other hand.

Cover and cook for 5 minutes.

After 5 minutes, stir the rava upma and add curd. Mix well.

Finally, add cashews and peanuts. Mix well and serve hot.
