Protein rich healthy mix dal dosa with tangy tomato chutney

As we all know about the goodness of moondal, how rich it is in protein. Plus I've added paneer and veggies in the stuffing which adds more nutrients to the recipe. It is also light and easily digestive. A perfect healthy option for breakfast or light & loving dinner.

Protein rich healthy mix dal dosa with tangy tomato chutney
As we all know about the goodness of moondal, how rich it is in protein. Plus I've added paneer and veggies in the stuffing which adds more nutrients to the recipe. It is also light and easily digestive. A perfect healthy option for breakfast or light & loving dinner.

Steps

Take equal amount of both moong dal and half of it rice, wash them nicely and soak them for 4-5 hours. Grind it in a fine paste. Add water to adjust the consistency.

Add chilli ginger paste and 1 tsp black pepper jeera powder and salt, mix it well. Grate paneer, chop the veggies of your choice.

Add paneer to chopped veggies. Sprinkle black pepper powder and salt, and mix it gently.

Heat the tawa. Take a ladle full of dosa batter and spread dosa starting from middle to outer side. Drizzle some oil. Spread the stuffing over it and let it cook till golden and crispy. Fold it and it is ready to serve.

For chutney, heat 1/2 tbsp oil add urad dal, saute for couple of minutes. Add garlic and dry red chilli, add tomatoes and cook till tomatoes are mashy. Add salt to taste.

After it cools down, grind it in fine paste or little coarse, as you wish.

Heat 1/2 tbsp oil and add mustard seeds, curry leaves and asafoetida. As mustard seeds splatter,add this tempering to the grind chutney. Our chutney is ready to serve.
