Ingredients

  1. 1/2 cupmung dal
  2. 1/2 cuprice
  3. 1/4 cupUrad Dal/ black gram
  4. 2 TablespoonTuvar Dal/pegion pea
  5. 2 tspMasoor Dal/ red lentil
  6. 1 cupsemolina
  7. 1/4 cupcoriander
  8. 1/4 cupmint leaves
  9. to tastesalt
  10. 1/2 teaspoonchopped green chilli
  11. 1/4 teaspoonblack pepper powder
  12. 1/4 teaspoonbaking soda
  13. as neededOil for frying
  14. as neededWater
  15. as neededCondiment:curd and coriander mint chutney

Steps

  1. 1

    Soak daal and rice overnight. Remove access water and grind it in mixture jar. First grind the daal and then rice.

  2. 2

    Add semolina to it and mix it well. Give it a rest of 1 hour.

  3. 3

    Now add salt, chopped green chilli, coriander, mint leaves, pepper powder to it and mix it well.

  4. 4

    Add soda to the dough before frying and mix it well. Heat oil and fry donuts on medium flame till it becomes golden in colour.

  5. 5

    Serve this tasty savoury donuts with curd and green chutney.
