Steps

Soak 1cup of Urad Dal for 2 hours. Drain the water completely otherwise consistency will be watery.

Add dal in mixer jar & grind to smooth paste by adding little water.

Now add the chopped Ingredients to the batter.

Now keep a bowl of water aside, soak hand in it & make round shape with hole.

Heat oil & keep it in medium flame, drop vadai one by one Turn on both side until it is golden brown

Our hot crispy Medu vadai (Urad Dal Vadai) is ready to go with coconut chutney, sambhar and curd.
