Rinse the poha in water till they soften. Now add sugar, salt, turmeric powder and fried peanuts to the poha and gently mix well.

Heat oil in the pan/kadhai. Crackle the mustard seeds first. Now add coriander seed, cumin's, fennel seed, green chilli, asafetida and curry leaves. Sauté them. Now add chopped onion amd saute them till they become translucent. add the poha mixture and stir. Cover and steam the poha for 5min on a low flame.

Switch off the flame and let the poha remain covered for 1-2minutes. Remove the lid and sprinkle some lemon juice, coriander leaves and sev. Serve hot hot. Poha is ready.
