Ingredients

  1. 1 cupSweet corn
  2. 1 cupCorn meal
  3. 1/2 cupCurd (Dahi / Yogurt)
  4. 2-3Green Chillies, chopped
  5. 1 inchGinger paste
  6. 1/4 teaspoonAsafoetida
  7. 1/4 teaspoonTurmeric powder
  8. 1 teaspoonEnos
  9. 1/2 teaspoonLemon juice
  10. 1/2 teaspoonSugar
  11. To tasteSalt,
  12. 1 tspRed chilli powder for garnshing
  13. As requiredCooking oil, for greasing
  14. As requiredCoriander Chopped

Steps

  1. 1

    Crush the sweet corn in a blender along with green chilies and ginger.

  2. 2

    In the crushed corn paste add corn dalia and sour curd,asafoetida, turmeric powder, salt, sugar, lime juice and mix properly.

  3. 3

    Add water to make a thick, dropping consistency batter and put it aside for 30 minutes.

  4. 4

    Prepare the steamer and grease steel plates with oil.

  5. 5

    Add the fruit salt to the dhokla batter, mix well and immediately put the batter into the prepared plate.

  6. 6

    Steam for 12-15 minutes or till a knife/ tester inserted comes out clean.

  7. 7

    Top red chilli powder on it & Serve Corn Dhokla with Dhaniya and Pudina Chutney.
