At 1st wash your fishes thoroughly and dry it with paper towel.

Next marinate the fishes with ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, chilli powder, cumin powder, lime juice and salt. Keep it in refrigerator for 15 mins.

Now prepare a batter. 1st mixed all dry ingredients like besan, cornflower, black pepper powder, salt, sugar, baking soda, ajwain. Now make the batter with chilled water.

Now put the fishes in batter and coat it very well. Fry it in hot oil for 5 mins on each side until medium golden brown in colour. Do not overcrowd the pan. At a time 1-2 is preferable.

When the fish is evenly golden all over, remove it from the oil and drain on paper towel. Serve it with Kasundi and some salad.
