Ingredients

  1. 1 cupdessicated coconut
  2. 1/2 cupsweetened condensed milk
  3. 4paan leaves (betel leaves)
  4. 4-5 tbspgulkand
  5. 1/2 tbspghee
  6. 1/4 tspCardomom powder
  7. as neededGreen food colour optional
  8. as neededDessicated coconut for rolling
  9. as neededRose petals for garnish optional

Steps

  1. 1

    Chop paan leaves and churn in a grinder with condensed milk. Keep aside.

  2. 2

    In a wok, roast the dessicated coconut in ghee.

  3. 3

    Add condensed milk mixture to roasted coconut mix well.

  4. 4

    If using colour add now.add cardamom powder. Let the mixture cool a bit.

  5. 5

    Take some amount in greased palm, fill the center with gulkand. Gently fold and close.

  6. 6

    Make ladoos of desired size and roll in remaining dessicated coconut. Garnish and serve.
