Oats laddu is one of the easy Indian sweet recipes that I love to prepare at home often. It can be prepared with sugar or jaggery and not much of ghee is needed and it's optional. They're non-sticky while you hold on and slightly chewy and taste good. They can be made absolutely fat free or vegan by eliminating the Ghee. Do try this healthy easy Diwali sweet recipe. I have used organic jaggery this time. You can use white or brown sugar or even jaggery.

Preparation : dry roast Oats until it's hot to touch, cool and powder it.

Powder jaggery and keep it ready. You'll get good quality organic jaggery powder in health stores.

Dry roast Cashew nuts and almonds separately. Chop it finely or powder it coarsely.

Method : In a bowl mix together Oats, jaggery, cardamom powder and nuts.

Heat 1tbs of ghee, saute the raisins until they puff up and add to the Oats mixture.

Melt needed ghee and add to the mixture little a time. Mix well and make ball. Make sure that the ghee is warm.

Store and shelf life : Store it in a airtight container. Stay good for 15days at room temperature.
