Steps

Heat the pan, add ghee, cumin seeds, green chilli, grated ginger, elaichi,laung, onion, now saute till onion golden brown.

Add the above masalas along with little water (1/2 cup), mix well.

Add chopped tomatoes in low flame till soft (6-7 mins) and add water 1 cup and then add chane ki dal and sugar and then mix well till boiling point.

Garnish with coriander leaves and serve with chapati and kheer
