Peel the skin of the banana blossoms and keep only flowers. Remove the veins inside of the small flowers. Colour of flowers get changes quickly. Put the chopped banana in the buttermilk.

In the cooker, add chopped banana flower and a little turmeric powder, salt and cook until a whistle.

Heat oil in a pan and then add the cinnamon, cloves and cardamom. Then add the bay leaf.

Then change the flame to medium and add the cumin and ginger paste.

Now add the chopped potatoes, cover the pan and simmer for 10 minutes in a medium heat.

Then add curry leaves and green chillies.

Then add the boiled Chana dal and boiled banana flower

Add turmeric powder, chilli powder, garam masala powder, salt and a little water.

Cover the lid and cook for another 10 mins until the curry gets thick.

Now add the grated coconut and stir for 5 more minutes.

Then add the sugar, coriander leaves and ghee and stir well and switch off the flame.
