Ingredients

  1. 1 cupvermicelli
  2. 1/2medium size onion chopped
  3. 1tomato chopped
  4. 8-10curry leaves
  5. 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  6. 1 pinchhing(asafoetida)
  7. 2 tsp peanuts
  8. 1/4 tspmustard seeds
  9. 1/4 tsp sugar
  10. as neededCoriander leaves chopped for garnishing
  11. as neededWater for cooking

Steps

  1. 1

    In a pan dry roast vermicelli(can use roasted ones also directly)

  2. 2

    In a pan take oil add mustard,peanuts. Add hing chopped onion and tomato and saute

  3. 3

    Add sugar, red chilli powder and add vermicelli and roast for more 5 mins.

  4. 4

    Add salt, water and cook covered for 5-8 mins.

  5. 5

    Ready to serve with garnishing
