Boil sugar, water, cardamom together until liquid reduces to 1 cups and keep this syrup on slow heat.

Mix together milk; maida and baking powder.

Now add ghee and rub with fingers.

Add egg and mix with hands.

Mix well so the mixture becomes a soft dough.

Now slightly grease your hands and make small balls. Deep fry on medium flame. Keep turning continously to get nice even colour.

Once balls are brown enough; take out from oil and drop in sugar syrup.

Cover the pan and keep on slow flame for 7-10 minutes.

(Keep the balls small as they swell during frying and soaking) now Gulab Jamun ready.

Note..
At the time of making of dough we add slowly slowly egg and then making soft dough.
