In a pan Roast the 1 cup Aval for 2 min (medium flame), once roasted transfer to a plate

Once cooled grind the aval in a mixer like a rava

Heat the pan, pour 1 spoon ghee, fry the cashew and dry grapes(optional) till golden brown and transfer it to a separate plate

Pour 2 cup water in a pan with a pinch of salt, when the water boiled add the powered aval into it and mix well properly to avoid lump

Add a cup of brown sugar and mix well

Add roasted cashew and dry grapes and mix well,Finally add a spoon of ghee and mix well

Now aval kesari is ready
