Besan-onion stuffed paratha

Take wheat flour in a bowl and knead a soft dough using water. Keep aside(covered) for 15-20 minutes

Now for stuffing
Take Besan and all the dry masalas in a glass bowl, mix well.Now heat up the mustard oil in a pan. Pour this hot oil on the besan and mix well with a spoon.This will help Heeg and besan to be cooked slightly. Make a nice thick paste and let it cool

Chop onion, add very little salt, coriander leaves and finely chopped green chilli.

Making of Paratha
Pinch little dough that is prepared and roll it big. Now apply besan paste and spread all over with the help of the back of spoon

Spread the chopped onions on the besan paste and press a little.

Now fold it in a way that we get layers (like we used to make paper fan)

Keep tawa to heat up. Place the besan stuffed Paratha on hot tawa and let it cool on low flame.

Flip the side and let it cook. Flip again and apply ghee or oil as per your liking.

Remove when it’s done. Enjoy hot Paratha with pickle and butter.
