Ingredients

  1. 1 cupsteamed rice (leftover)
  2. 1 cupready Dal (any)
  3. 2 cupswheat flour /(as required)
  4. 1 t bsp oil for kneading dough
  5. as neededOil for shallow fry
  6. to tasteSalt
  7. 1 tspgreen chilli paste
  8. 1/4 tspturmeric powder
  9. 1 tspcumin powder
  10. 1 tspcrushed garlic(optional)
  11. 1 tbspfresh Fenugreek leaves(optional)
  12. 1/2 tspRed chilli powder
  13. 1 pinchAsafoetida

Cooking Instructions

    Add leftover rice and dal in big mixing bowl

  2. 2

    Add all the spices in it and finely chopped Fenugreek leaves mix it.

  3. 3

    Now add wheat flour and knead a dough.. Add very little water or avoid to add as well.

  4. 4

    Pick a small ball of dough and roll it dusting dry wheat flour.

  5. 5

    Shallow fry on griddle pouring oil from the sides of the paratha.

  6. 6

    Serve hot with fresh yogurt and pickle.
